I lived next door to Major Oatts in about 1965 in Glencorse Park, Auchendinny. Please pass on my condolences to the family. I used to stay at Glenmore House, Kilmelford for summer holidays, and have copies of his Uncle’s book about my father’s regiment, the HLI.
